National USA Foundation, Inc. (NUFI)

National USA Foundation, Inc. (NUFI) is a non-profit foundation working exclusively with the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. (NBCUSA), which is the largest organization of African American Baptists in the Western Hemisphere representing some 7.5 million parishioners. The NBC Health Outreach Prevention Education Initiative (NBC-HOPE) is charged with dramatically improving the health of African Americans under the motto of Building Healthy Communities – Congregation by Congregation.

100 Black Men of America, Inc.

100 Black Men of America, Inc. (The 100) is the largest African American led  mentoring organization in the U.S.with the mission of improving the quality of life and enhancing educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. The 100’s  health and wellness programs focus on raising awareness and providing access to information and tools to improve health outcomes in critical areas that negatively impact African Americans.  These focus areas include, but are not limited to, child health/fitness, prostate, colorectal, breast and lung cancers, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, mental/behavioral health, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, and violence prevention.

National Football League – Minnesota Vikings

The National Football League – Minnesota Vikings promotes concussion awareness, education, and prevention in youth players, and has programs focused on promoting sound lifestyle choices in young athletes. The NFL has current health initiatives for physical activity and exercise (“Play 60”) and prostate cancer screening and treatment (“Know Your Stats”), in conjunction with the American Urological Association.
