SCHOLARS DISPARITIES PROGRAM
Researcher under the mentorship of senior CHAAMPS investigators will utilize analyzed data sets from national databases and CHAAMPS biostatistical and study design support to formulate research studies.
Resources provided include:
- Analyzed data sets from national databases, including SEER-Medicare; Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project; State and National Inpatient and Emergency Department; American Hospital Association Survey; and National Trauma Data Bank.
- Biostatistical and study design support.
- After completion of the research project, scholars may receive a monetary stipend to fund presentation of research results at a relevant national meeting.
