Risk & Protective Factor Assessment Workgroup:

This workgroup helps the coalition to establish priority risk and protective factors that they will target through prevention programming.

Resource Assessment & Evaluation Workgroup:

This workgroup identifies and evaluates existing evidence-based services in the community that address the priority risk and protective factors of the coalition.

Youth Involvement Workgroups:

This workgroup focuses on creating ways to ensure that youth of the community are included and have a voice throughout the work of the coalition.

Community Outreach & Public Relations Workgroup:

This workgroup spreads the word about the Hazel Park Community Coalition to ensure that community members and stakeholders are aware of the coalition’s work and accomplishments.

Funding Workgroup:

This workgroup collaborates and networks with others to obtain funding to implement the coalition’s community action plan and other coalition efforts.

Community Board Maintenance Workgroup:

This workgroup is responsible for establishing coalition membership guidelines and conducting maintenance activities (e.g. attendance, new member orientation, etc.)
