Tina Simpson, MD, MPH
Dr. Tina Simpson is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, the program director for the UAB Adolescent Medicine fellowship program and the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health Training Program. The primary focus of her research efforts is the reduction of high-risk behaviors among adolescents and young adults. She has been involved in projects such as behavioral risk reduction programs, vaccine trials, and HIV clinical trials. She sees patients at the Adolescent Health Center at Children’s of Alabama.
Janice Phillips, BS
Janice Phillips is a Program Administrator in the UAB Division of Preventive Medicine. She enjoys working collaboratively and has extensive experience working with diverse populations. Janice manages multiple projects focused on lifestyle modifications and community-based participatory research. In addition, she has 13 years of leadership experience working with community churches in implementing educational programs.
Charles Jason Branch, MA, LPC
Jason Branch is the clinical director and chief executive officer of J. Branch and Associates LLC, a mental health counseling agency that provides services for adolescents, adults and families. Jason is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Alabama State University, Professional Life Coach, and Motivational Speaker. Jason is a graduate of The University of West Alabama with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology. Jason received his Master’s Degree in Community Agency Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His mission in life is to combat the stigma of counseling and mental health especially in the African American Community.
